U.S. Ambassador William H. Duncan participated in the “U.S.-El Salvador Technology Forum”, where more than 100 government officials, technology sector leaders and experts met to discuss the transformative potential of the digital economy.

Among the participants were important US technology companies such as: Amazon Web Services, Intel, Meta, Microsoft, Google, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, among others.

This forum was held thanks to the U.S. government, through the Department of Commerce. In his speech, Ambassador Duncan said: “By working together, governments and industries will be able to establish solid cybersecurity frameworks that safeguard critical infrastructure, protect confidential information and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the digital ecosystem”.
