Walking into the grocery story today, I was approached in the parking lot by two black dudes wearing white button-ups who ended up explaining how the Bible certifies that Jesus has returned as a Korean man and woman to represent both sexes, emphasizing the importance of women and illustrating with the idea that a woman would rush into a burning building because she sees herself in the child she would save.
One guy was from Ohio, the other from Atlanta.
They told me the names of the two Korean messiahs, but they don't exactly roll off the tongue.
They invited me to discuss for thirty minutes, and no surprise, Church of God is a non-denominational church on Buford Hwy in Norcross.
When I mentioned how the traditional Black family had been destroyed by emasculating the men through government incentives that they are no longer needed by women, one of them acknowledged that they had just discussed this very concern that morning. These guys are clearly connected to their cause not by conviction but by transaction.
Running this one by my realtor, a half-Korean Christian who knows Gwinnett very well. He said during his time in Korea around 2012, these pitchmen were like rats on every corner.
